Julie Fleming - Secretary
Julie has served as the Secretary of the UDC since 2007. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Public Administration and Political Science in 1984. She then worked in both the US House and Senate, where she met and married Mark Fleming, thus joining the Wolfpack family. She and Mark moved to Raleigh in 1992.
Julie has chaired the Gala in the Garden at the JC Raulston Arboretum, has been a deacon and taught Sunday School in her church and has been the president of the Bloomsbury Garden Club. Most importantly she has spent many years at legislative events with Mark promoting NC State University. She is currently serving on the board for the North Carolina State Capitol Foundation. Julie and Mark have two sons, one daughter-in-law and one granddaughter.
